It's been a long time since I wrote here last, right?<br />
Crazy how life gets with a new baby (can you still call a baby "new" when she's 6 1/2 months old? Hm...) .<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But anyway! Today I just wanted to share with you guys an amazing jewelry company I found while perusing Etsy for a ring to replace my wedding ring.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Behold -- <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tulajewelry?ref=l2-shopheader-name" target="_blank">Tula Jewelry!</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJHOVYNmE_X79g03QohvaX0QTa5l1pNSBTfQz_6FxMtcgxZ-MC7e5CGcrQYdmHdzmWjRXrKabVPc6CNKen39hxUqdCt-6C0psQ0Fgm_jHKQ45fp6WSSbesOe4JKqa_FtGlKINnwfjbNvY0/s1600/iusb_760x100.9114748.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="84" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJHOVYNmE_X79g03QohvaX0QTa5l1pNSBTfQz_6FxMtcgxZ-MC7e5CGcrQYdmHdzmWjRXrKabVPc6CNKen39hxUqdCt-6C0psQ0Fgm_jHKQ45fp6WSSbesOe4JKqa_FtGlKINnwfjbNvY0/s1600/iusb_760x100.9114748.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br />
The first thing that attracted me to her site was her amazing handmade and sustainable jewelry. Seriously, everything she makes is just beautiful. The thing that made me stick around, though? Her prices! Seriously, her rings are nearly 3x less expensive than diamond rings I've seen elsewhere.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOi98rqcfbBheyECAPxihPfNnWU4uwtQBVAXSqBJRuuFarwg0O8Lfo0HpLLeiHCj4BCh6YmIG0eC7NUA0RD-Kxjl8OWpuQ72CpUgGvAFhEsY6jEV-Jp2izfdrCg8bKb4zDiLVnliJ83L5i/s1600/tula+jewelry+mine.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOi98rqcfbBheyECAPxihPfNnWU4uwtQBVAXSqBJRuuFarwg0O8Lfo0HpLLeiHCj4BCh6YmIG0eC7NUA0RD-Kxjl8OWpuQ72CpUgGvAFhEsY6jEV-Jp2izfdrCg8bKb4zDiLVnliJ83L5i/s1600/tula+jewelry+mine.png" /></a><br />
<br />
I picked out this lovely ring (the <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/90910383/micropave-diamond-ring-stacking-ring?ref=shop_home_active" target="_blank">Diamond Micropage Stacking Ring</a>) because I just loved the simple beauty, but now that I have it on my finger, I'm already thinking of ways to buy another one to stack with it. Maybe something like <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/124168199/diamond-slice-ring-yellow-14k-gold-ring?ref=shop_home_active" target="_blank">this</a>?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6pgo0Sgg7_-IUkXwgl0N1FcMJToU-HZZ4cEj9SVrgCYpKBNeB6tVvbYtSwH2Z9K0x0DD00AJjOS83de7dxIXWdPo0gvrixDBc_iGJsGwbF3jerv-3sEdPfn3FwwnLB-jRbtTlP8q-WUyx/s1600/il_570xN.429600631_dpye.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="516" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6pgo0Sgg7_-IUkXwgl0N1FcMJToU-HZZ4cEj9SVrgCYpKBNeB6tVvbYtSwH2Z9K0x0DD00AJjOS83de7dxIXWdPo0gvrixDBc_iGJsGwbF3jerv-3sEdPfn3FwwnLB-jRbtTlP8q-WUyx/s1600/il_570xN.429600631_dpye.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Or something<a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/152404911/diamond-slice-ring-rose-gold-diamond?ref=shop_home_active" target="_blank"> like this</a>? Seriously, the options are endless. I'll probably go broke on Tula Jewelry. But, at least my fingers will look stylish, right?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Really, go check her shop out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
You won't be disappointed, I promise!</div>

<br />
You guys, their products are amazing.<br />
I mentioned how much I loved their <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/69233154/organic-postpartum-herbal-bath-tea-12" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Postpartum Herbal Tea Bath</a> in a previous post... But, they have so much more to offer.<br />
<br />
Like, take these products for instance!<br />
<br />

<br />
This stuff feels awesome! They sent me a little sample with my order and I fell in love.<br />
I've been dealing with pregnancy rash (PUPPP) and seriously, this stuff took the itching away. I was pretty amazed.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I haven't tried this yet, but it is completely vegan and sounds like it would feel (and smell!) so great.<br />

<br />
I'm a sucker for lip balm and lemon. So, I'm pretty sure I could become addicted to this, and quick!<br />
<br />
Most of Mirasol Farms are organic and they grow many of their herbs on their small farm in Western Wisconsin.<br />
<br />
Aside from that, Mirasol Farms also does great things for the community. Their Organic Mama line is actually an online fundraiser for a community group that provides doula and prenatal support services<span style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 14.44444465637207px; line-height: 20.98958396911621px;"> for women who are in prison. Isn't that amazing? Learn more about the organization <a href="http://www.everyday-miracles.org/isis.shtml" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here.</a></span></span><br />

You won't be disappointed in the quality of their products, or the speed of their delivery!</span></span><br />

</div>
<span style="font-size: x-small;">-This post is about postpartum healing "down there"...So, feel free to skip it if you're squeamish or just don't want to hear about my hemorrhoids! Also? This post is cross posted on my <a href="http://www.teandbaby.com/" target="_blank">family blog</a>...So sorry if you get this twice in your reader!-</span><br />
<br />
Before I had Eloise, I was blissfully unaware of the pain that came after actually giving birth.<br />
Tearing down there? Check. Hemorrhoids? Double check.<br />
Basically, healing from having a baby was no walk in the park. But, I was happy to have my brand new baby girl-- So I tried to suck up the huge amounts of pain I was feeling "down there" and tried to numb the pain with dermoplast and tucks pads.<br />
<br />
I'll be honest, this time around I am terrified of recovery. It was <i>that</i> bad last time. My biggest fear is tearing or an episiotomy because that pain is still fresh in my mind. Really, those two words kind of make me cringe even just thinking about them.<br />
<br />
So, this time around, I decided I wanted to be prepared!<br />
I've been researching for months ways to make healing quicker and less painful.<br />
<br />
Many people suggest simply freezing maxi pads in water and using them in your mesh undies (those are the best!) after you give birth, while others suggest soaking them in Witch Hazel.<br />
<br />
Through my research, though-- I found that sitz baths (with a mix of natural herbs) are really the best way to go though. So, I thought--Hey! Why don't I just soak pads in a sitz bath solution and freeze them to make my own Postpartum Padsicles?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
So...That's what I did.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I hopped online and looked for the best sitz bath combination I could find. A lot of them were way expensive...But, luckily, I found a <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/69233154/organic-postpartum-herbal-bath-tea-12?ref=sr_gallery_1&sref=sr_0b1e0df8a142b726fadb743a20633467ea2c87167e9e71adb8bd41ff13395568_1357935446_14109450_bath&ga_search_query=sitz+bath&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">really affordable and organic bath tea</a> on Etsy through the vendor Mirasol Farms (more about them later today or tomorrow...Their shop is amazing!) and I jumped right on ordering some.<br />
<br />
And, of course, the second I received them, I had to jump right on making my postpartum padsicles.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXDa2Mi2_5SzhCs8fx6A0N45AicBl0qUMZFVVAlMQYgswUY_aEXOecEkFw2hCPOXEGfk6EGxSQD5oq3hV8AhSET4rZtXFipu2tcSsELUKrjfuzzJu9HEbJjuAWEa394lHkjIDRgz06TVxd/s1600/postpartumpadsiclesoops.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXDa2Mi2_5SzhCs8fx6A0N45AicBl0qUMZFVVAlMQYgswUY_aEXOecEkFw2hCPOXEGfk6EGxSQD5oq3hV8AhSET4rZtXFipu2tcSsELUKrjfuzzJu9HEbJjuAWEa394lHkjIDRgz06TVxd/s1600/postpartumpadsiclesoops.jpg" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
Want to make some of your own?<br />
Here's an easy tutorial!<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixkTnrixnjJSt2CCmuP0awTuUNWRadRo6rLoekgZGSUWq_nIawHWBiaWtAVHhZuCzTxuU8y7PKAjycBR8ieCYxACI0BwSK9TrXj_g7NSPdx_xZ0IPZBcZ-B6gv0OHK6RaW61K1SZJgb08/s1600/postpartumpads6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixkTnrixnjJSt2CCmuP0awTuUNWRadRo6rLoekgZGSUWq_nIawHWBiaWtAVHhZuCzTxuU8y7PKAjycBR8ieCYxACI0BwSK9TrXj_g7NSPdx_xZ0IPZBcZ-B6gv0OHK6RaW61K1SZJgb08/s1600/postpartumpads6.jpg" /></a><br />
<br />
First, gather your supplies. Pads, a peri bottle (or spray bottle), and your postpartum bath tea (sitz bath).<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnLxvzD-zyru0sdgaNUFjLauvYJaKEwfs-TfI3pJcGoJGF33b1ke7VQzFB2P6JNTZ67ASQs-FXmsSRmeDFCdRP8-Qph8-ueEXWp2Fei39PaFKaVzE4vUrCpjDfsIQDAFxOrJg7rEcAi34/s1600/postpartumpads5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnLxvzD-zyru0sdgaNUFjLauvYJaKEwfs-TfI3pJcGoJGF33b1ke7VQzFB2P6JNTZ67ASQs-FXmsSRmeDFCdRP8-Qph8-ueEXWp2Fei39PaFKaVzE4vUrCpjDfsIQDAFxOrJg7rEcAi34/s1600/postpartumpads5.jpg" /></a><br />
<br />
Then, measure out your ingredients. I kind of just guessed-- but 4 cups water and about 1/4 cup sitz bath seemed to do the trick for me.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV-RpNAPufmnFMGI5ZJjkawKgwTirGXFOzH5kko91xECvdY4HxYpIyhAMz_Akp7116ZFQpN5OPHC9zYl6HGRAbQdwQ9SdVerIdgPp2PP5WDQRiKLJqbHL5r3PLJHVHbq404fi4I-ptMk8/s1600/postpartumpads1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV-RpNAPufmnFMGI5ZJjkawKgwTirGXFOzH5kko91xECvdY4HxYpIyhAMz_Akp7116ZFQpN5OPHC9zYl6HGRAbQdwQ9SdVerIdgPp2PP5WDQRiKLJqbHL5r3PLJHVHbq404fi4I-ptMk8/s1600/postpartumpads1.jpg" /></a><br />
<br />
Pour the water into a pan and let it come to a boil. Once it's boiling, add the sitz bath and allow it to steep for at least 20 minutes.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhisOg9gXpNS42EBNmZKvNIm-SEymf6x04WaGHiyjdy3IsZFxtcmvIMA5fOHpf9RpxHPvlomOM_Rlfy74tu-YO32x_1EbWKHDft0uVtV4OoCltxn3OBXT8PNCoNL8ZB4kl60lXmd8xlI0E/s1600/postpartumpads2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhisOg9gXpNS42EBNmZKvNIm-SEymf6x04WaGHiyjdy3IsZFxtcmvIMA5fOHpf9RpxHPvlomOM_Rlfy74tu-YO32x_1EbWKHDft0uVtV4OoCltxn3OBXT8PNCoNL8ZB4kl60lXmd8xlI0E/s1600/postpartumpads2.jpg" /></a><br />
<br />
While that's steeping, lay out your pads on a cookie sheet. <span style="font-size: xx-small;">(I tried a bowl before, but it was a huge mess and it all stuck together in the freezer. Bad news!)</span><br />
<span style="font-size: xx-small;"><br /></span>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWl7MLwEkUgvGqWwih8AaBcUGoq58IqLW28-mMhJ9M2KdPXuXAbt4lJma329STHWOttEOSFnh6IwstQxR7NhXrEtDM26uXRfN32OiAQa8n_6egMjtSZLNSwItHflzhcwy4tH3p-ekZAaA/s1600/postpartumpads3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWl7MLwEkUgvGqWwih8AaBcUGoq58IqLW28-mMhJ9M2KdPXuXAbt4lJma329STHWOttEOSFnh6IwstQxR7NhXrEtDM26uXRfN32OiAQa8n_6egMjtSZLNSwItHflzhcwy4tH3p-ekZAaA/s1600/postpartumpads3.jpg" /></a><br />
<span style="font-size: xx-small;"><br /></span>
Allow your solution to cool, then strain the herbs out and pour the liquid into your peri bottle.<br />
<br />

Begin to squirt your solution generously over your pads. Make sure each pad is completely saturated.<br />
<br />

<br />
Next, just stick those bad boys in the freezer for about an hour (or until frozen)... Be sure to take them out of the freezer and transfer them into a baggie after that, so that they don't get frozen to your pan.<br />
It also may be a good idea to individually wrap them, so that they don't stick together.<br />
<br />
And, there you have it!<br />
Some frozen postpartum padsicles.<br />
<br />
Let's hope they make healing a little more enjoyable this time around!<br />
<br />
Disclaimer: These padsicles aren't meant to hold blood. They are just meant to help soothe the lady parts after delivery. Be sure to have something absorbant on underneath to avoid major leakage!<br />

On an unrelated note, thank you to everyone who has emailed me about possibly becoming a contributor. I am still accepting "applications"...I am just really slow at deciding. Internet time has been really limited lately (thanks to a busy toddler)...But, I'll decide soon, I promise!erika @ life unfluffedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01560324406766930861noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1905008462860244895.post-76548910078052769012012-12-20T21:59:00.000-07:002012-12-20T21:59:18.657-07:00Okay, so here is the thing.<br />I love this little blog of mine. It was my baby before my body would make real ones, and for that I will be forever grateful.<br />
<br />
Since having our first daughter last year (heck, even before then), I have had a really hard time balancing blog, crafting, and motherhood. And, just as it started to seem like maybe I could get on top of my game-- We found out I was pregnant again, which brought a whole new level of "whoa, I am not a super human" syndrome into my life.<br />
<br />
Baby girl number two will be arriving sometime in the next 6 weeks (please be sooner!), and it finally came to me what needs to happen with this blog!<br /><br />I need help!<br />
In the form of contributors.<br />I know, lots of blogs are doing it these days, but really? I think contributors would be an awesome way to keep Oops! I Craft My Pants alive, while allowing me to still post when my heart desires.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhGd7T2N2ASDwwT5Gn_rvOykiC-I9kRHZ9i7H-PeGe6ukT0vgPfKfzwhkum32URCNx-g7eIzxiCUlSq4yydHpKxmO7JzcxuI82uw5IIZ1lx-xOyCt_E7hmNAL_P1dhZCwqN2mFADFnYwOh/s1600/wannacontribute.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhGd7T2N2ASDwwT5Gn_rvOykiC-I9kRHZ9i7H-PeGe6ukT0vgPfKfzwhkum32URCNx-g7eIzxiCUlSq4yydHpKxmO7JzcxuI82uw5IIZ1lx-xOyCt_E7hmNAL_P1dhZCwqN2mFADFnYwOh/s1600/wannacontribute.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I'll be honest, this is totally not going to be a paid gig or anything (I'm poor!...Plus, this blog is more about making connections and friends--Not much of a moola bringer-inner.)...But, I can promise you that you'll meet some fun people and gain some extra exposure for your own blog (if you have one!)<br />
<br />
Right now, I'm thinking I want contributors for the following:<br />-Recipes<br />
-Kid Crafts<br />
-Sewing<br />
and<br />
-30 Minute (or less) Crafts<br />
<br />
BUT! If you have another idea, please please please pitch it to me! Do you have awesome date ideas? Let me know! Party ideas? Send 'em my way! Is your garden amazing and you think you have great tips? We could use your knowledge!<br />
Really, any (clean) topic is game, just email me.<br />
<br />
I know this is super short notice, but I would like to have my contributors start next month (if possible), so please email me as soon as possible. Be sure to include a little bit about yourself, your strengths, and a blog link if you have one (if you don't, that's totally okay!...Still email me, if you're interested.)<br />
<br />
I'm so excited to hear from you!<br />

I'm a procrastinator when it comes to Holiday cards.<br />
I always have the best intentions of sending out Christmas cards to my loved ones...But then? December hits and I realize I haven't even found a photographer yet. Not to mention, I'm not really in the mood to design my own cards these days.<br />Ah...Such is life, I guess.<br /><br />Luckily, I ran across these adorable <a href="http://www.minted.com/new-year-photo-cards" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">New Year Photo Cards</a> from minted.com and umm...Fell in love!<br />Sending out New Year cards rather than Christmas cards just seems like such a good idea to me. It gives me a good extra week to find time to send out my cards, plus? The designs are cuter than anything I have ever seen on a pre-made site before. They all have such a unique feel, which is just what I want when it comes to cards.<br /><br />Here are a few of my favorites!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQucr3QrdltPGg8pwPEWaTXq8rZWry6rhQ8yWnPqNPIarjBxRdj2PaObO0NM-lcC4k3uZWS35C26o14UAMQFibbtmhGrXPkBP1Q9ZwoQx1DYTDBWb7Ea2HeSBHhNxQ_07t_fEDUBclLks2/s1600/MIN-4Z4-HNY-001_A_PD.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQucr3QrdltPGg8pwPEWaTXq8rZWry6rhQ8yWnPqNPIarjBxRdj2PaObO0NM-lcC4k3uZWS35C26o14UAMQFibbtmhGrXPkBP1Q9ZwoQx1DYTDBWb7Ea2HeSBHhNxQ_07t_fEDUBclLks2/s1600/MIN-4Z4-HNY-001_A_PD.jpeg" height="424" width="640" /></a><br />

<br />
Well! Make her pretty, of course.<br />

So, I made these two Christmas iPhone Wallpapers for you to download if you want.<br />
I'm using the deer one as my lock screen and the houndstooth one as my main background. But, I mean...You can do whatever your heart desires!<br />

</div>
A few weeks ago I was contacted by M80 to do write a blog post on behalf of AT&T and Isis Mobile Wallet. Of course, I jumped right on the opportunity! I had been seeing commercials for Isis Mobile Wallet for weeks, and was eager to try it out.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIHgDlzH55b3256NKSuCs1SsXUNjuJbqaSiM_juqQMPh26NXmDQLEfEoEft-vcKsO5FMwcUpN0zw0xR3BGhusexcY0ftpYOdo9N2fK3DMj79_f3GxEna2kOfQEnN98Aqe31_zSqjuKcYgv/s1600/ISIS_StarLogo_Horizon_RGB_webready.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIHgDlzH55b3256NKSuCs1SsXUNjuJbqaSiM_juqQMPh26NXmDQLEfEoEft-vcKsO5FMwcUpN0zw0xR3BGhusexcY0ftpYOdo9N2fK3DMj79_f3GxEna2kOfQEnN98Aqe31_zSqjuKcYgv/s1600/ISIS_StarLogo_Horizon_RGB_webready.jpeg" height="307" width="400" /></a><br />
<br />The day I went and got my phone (a Samsung Galaxy SIII... The Isis Mobile Wallet app only works on Androids, for now) I was super excited. Not only did I get to try out a new phone, but I got to go shopping! It was a win win, for sure.<br /><br />The set up was fairly simple, thanks to the wonderful workers at my local AT&T store. They helped me load my prepaid card onto the app (you can also add credit cards! If you happen to lose your phone, you can simply contact AT&T and they will freeze all use of your Isis cards--While still allowing you to use your physical card).<br />

It's so much fun to leave my real wallet at home and just use my phone to pay for everything.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFR6fAm0czWIZYgV6_wC6A7jBhTrLuyfBN60PD8Uma4oe3KJkk4f5nF-x-Q_6cOEmVw6QSypMcAq04qN5T-i7auMY605K6_lPoQqjszRbEgU6bPjIkQHFGy3_SLynv2ZYr8_m2O5EK6jma/s1600/isis.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFR6fAm0czWIZYgV6_wC6A7jBhTrLuyfBN60PD8Uma4oe3KJkk4f5nF-x-Q_6cOEmVw6QSypMcAq04qN5T-i7auMY605K6_lPoQqjszRbEgU6bPjIkQHFGy3_SLynv2ZYr8_m2O5EK6jma/s1600/isis.jpg" height="640" width="462" /></a><br /><br />Just look at that look on my face. I was clearly excited, right?<br />
<br />
I just wish more stores were equipped for use... Because it was kind of a hassel to only shop at stores that were Isis ready.<br /><br />___<br />Disclaimer: I was given a Samsung Galaxy SIII mobile phone and $100 on a pre-paid giftcard to spend using Isis Mobile Wallet in exchange for this review. </div>
The other night I was working on <a href="http://www.oopsicraftmypants.net/2012/11/my-weekend.html" target="_blank">my little craft closet</a> (which, is coming together quite nicely, might I add!), and I got really sick of staring at my empty Ikea frame.<br />
<br />
I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it...I just knew it needed something.<br />
Luckily, I had some extra burlap from a project, so I cut a little square out and out it in there.<br />
Only...It still looked too plain.<br />
<br />
That's when a lightbulb went off. I remembered that I needed a pin cushion...And HEY! That'd be easy to make. Only... I had no stuffing.<br />
<br />
Enter paper towel.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivK3ltGvwhq-bLIiC1OWOUn6e3JpWwHWy0Hnq26SkRFE9p-MI-nRAeZK3ip2R_GhukXAAKvYivvtBHXWu85UI0ghhjoNa0WlTBUxHrDgrLypFi4EKAmoS-IozpQZJbxlU_ehw_wAjPuHtX/s1600/burlap+framed+pin+cushion.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivK3ltGvwhq-bLIiC1OWOUn6e3JpWwHWy0Hnq26SkRFE9p-MI-nRAeZK3ip2R_GhukXAAKvYivvtBHXWu85UI0ghhjoNa0WlTBUxHrDgrLypFi4EKAmoS-IozpQZJbxlU_ehw_wAjPuHtX/s1600/burlap+framed+pin+cushion.jpg" /></a><br />
<br />
step one: cut burlap to size.<br />
step two: stuff crumpled paper towel in there.<br />
<br />
PHEW. That's it.<br />
My kind of craft, for sure.<br />

<br />
Also? Please ignore my awful no good horrible pictures. It was nighttime when I took them...Combine that with the fact that I craft in a closet under the stairs (with Harry Potter), and that's as good as they could get.<br />

A few weeks ago, my husband and I decided that rather than make a nursery for baby girl #2, we would make a play room! We feel like toys are taking over our lives, and it is crazy.<br />
<br />
Well, this weekend we made the move into the room, and we absolutely love it so far!<br />
Of course, toys are still in other areas of our home, but having the majority of them upstairs in their own little space feels amazing!<br />
<br />
So anyway...We are on a super limited budget for decorating the place. There's just so many other things that could use our funds, so the play room will most likely end up completely DIYed...Which, of course, I have no problem with!<br />
<br />
The first thing I decided to make for the room was a printable about sisters.<br />
I love love love this quote, and it sums up my sister and my relationship to a T.<br />
I can only hope my girls will be just as close as we were (and are).<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAxG389kBolHzSelJxZWaQc1r9kftT3s_vDXs0q7JWTdbN0BjoQcVkx9aT_U-GSq4BUfhwik0i-YEa-QCL-GoP3LywLAXWTZfBE8Hkkmz8CmU12yhg0Apvz8c7uhFUkKCEf1IOoRHLn6BF/s1600/sister+friends+printable.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAxG389kBolHzSelJxZWaQc1r9kftT3s_vDXs0q7JWTdbN0BjoQcVkx9aT_U-GSq4BUfhwik0i-YEa-QCL-GoP3LywLAXWTZfBE8Hkkmz8CmU12yhg0Apvz8c7uhFUkKCEf1IOoRHLn6BF/s1600/sister+friends+printable.jpg" /></a><br />
<br />
For the fonts, I used fonts from <a href="http://www.nestofposies-blog.com/2012/11/free-chalkboard-fonts-dingbats.html" target="_blank">this handy dandy list</a> from Nest of Posies. To make the letters look a little more like chalk on a chalkboard, I ended up using an eraser with light opacity (14%ish) and going over the words and characters.<br />

Don't you love her "I played all day" hair? I do. It makes me want to kiss her face all over.<br />
<br />
But anyway!<br />
You can download this printable by clicking the image below.<br />
I just printed it off on regular cardstock (the print is an 8x10), but I heard sending printables to Costco to get printed really rocks...So, I'll have to try that soon.

My weekend is going to look a lot like this. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I'm attempting to move all the toys (and crap) from downstairs up into the spare bedroom (the catch all room) so that I can make this little closet into a "craft room".</div>

Which, is great because it's been a while!<br />
Something about crafting during nap time makes me feel more like me and not <i>just</i> a mom...And I like that.<br />
<br />
Anyway, as I was digging through El's endless amounts of (mostly Summer) clothes and putting them into bins, I came across some super dingy white jeggings and a boring white long sleeved shirt which she wore once.<br />
<br />
I knew I wanted to do something with them both, I just wasn't sure what!<br />
<br />

Luckily, after perusing Walmart a little while, it came to me.
Dye the jeggings and polka dot the top. Eaaasy.

Wow, it's been a while since I last checked in with you all.<br />
Things have been nuts around here as we are gearing up to welcome baby #2 in January.<br /><br />Thankfully, my "morning" sickness is finally starting to wear off and I'm actually starting to get things done around my house. I even crafted a little. But I mean, it was just a paper chain to countdown to baby's due date...But that counts for something, RIGHT!?<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcmoPD0ASwbKUs9z50b6vsNYrsVBBvKwJ_Syc0SWyTHcJFX0nG5dIbdUgA9O10dysv_LiKQSc1Bmtez67XCorl7_98xbaFnxEo2FGEL__ZMLxoQz329LqC2v2Z2kd_WbxIJHIVICgYllMo/s1600/paperchain.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcmoPD0ASwbKUs9z50b6vsNYrsVBBvKwJ_Syc0SWyTHcJFX0nG5dIbdUgA9O10dysv_LiKQSc1Bmtez67XCorl7_98xbaFnxEo2FGEL__ZMLxoQz329LqC2v2Z2kd_WbxIJHIVICgYllMo/s1600/paperchain.jpeg" /></a><br /><br />I even added special paper for all the holidays that will pass between now and then.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxVrE3PDGf6eeAXbYd0byMJK_gZAc-r7SDHXHjlslJDsRBOnaohGyrDj-I3FIn9qVS_YWz5YJXlcGM98JCRgC1LFNbaCqnhvWF310A2jceHHA7ipX0h0aMb3y4DjCOnIxWfQLD_99Bwyb3/s1600/holidays.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxVrE3PDGf6eeAXbYd0byMJK_gZAc-r7SDHXHjlslJDsRBOnaohGyrDj-I3FIn9qVS_YWz5YJXlcGM98JCRgC1LFNbaCqnhvWF310A2jceHHA7ipX0h0aMb3y4DjCOnIxWfQLD_99Bwyb3/s1600/holidays.jpeg" /></a><br />
<br />
I can't promise my crafting skills are here to stay, but it was fun to whip out the Mod Podge in the mean time.<br /><br />So tell me...What have you been up to these past few months? Any fun projects you want to share with me? While I was absolutely thrilled you guys still loved them, I was super bummed because there was no way for you all to download them anymore. <br />
<br />
And!? There was no way for me to send them to you because that computer is long gone and I didn't save a copy of them. Silly me.<br />
<br />
But, oh well. You live and you learn, right?<br />
<br />
So anyway...I made some more!<br />
This year, I made a few changes though.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0JVu-OYsKLQjYgCJ2MpivAsWr0CEK0NQU1BiduDVba0L0Z2u1O_NZwL4t7xSPMClA1gZxqQqcb60U2bTv7O3fnEItv2MKgBhuyTegSZ1qnXYHELghOCoQT99YZp755R_P5waSegqdkFSE/s1600/backtoschoollotionprintables.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0JVu-OYsKLQjYgCJ2MpivAsWr0CEK0NQU1BiduDVba0L0Z2u1O_NZwL4t7xSPMClA1gZxqQqcb60U2bTv7O3fnEItv2MKgBhuyTegSZ1qnXYHELghOCoQT99YZp755R_P5waSegqdkFSE/s1600/backtoschoollotionprintables.jpg" /></a></div><br />
First? With mine, I was a little lazy and didn't feel like mod podging the labels onto the lotions, so I used label paper and just printed them off right onto there. It was WAY easier, and I think it'll last longer than Mod Podge...But who knows. You are obviously welcome to use them any way you would like, 'podged or labeled.<br />
<br />
And next? I changed the wording from "we hope..." to "I hope..."<br />
If you were completely attached to the "we" part of the wording, feel free to email me (erika(at)oopsicraftmypants(dot)net) and I can change the wording on one of the colors for you.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>A few months ago I saw <a href="http://dontpatthebelly.com/2012/04/car-seat-emergency-information-stickers/">this pin</a> on Pinterest.<br />
<br />
I was blown away by what a good idea it was to just put a simple sticker on your child's car seat in case of an emergency. I can't believe that I never thought about what would happen to baby E if we got in a car accident and I was unresponsive. She would have no way of telling the paramedics anything about herself, and it makes me cry just thinking about it.<br />
<br />
That's why I thought that pin was just so dang impressive.<br />
<br />
I knew that I <i>had</i> to make Eloise one, and I also knew that I <i>had</i> to make it cute (and bright) so that it would catch the medics attention is something were to ever happen to us.<br />
<br />
So, off to Photoshop I went.<br />
<br />
I ended up making something pretty simple, but something that I also felt would make an impact.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXUp8NAHVGrLn28k5YL2VDQwmYDtFj9xBoAf0YNezBn9ETnk9GVtWF1Eq9qvnMeuf301hvUpU4zPDYnRqQPQzm5Oet4Vp7JK9N4kB0OcXFB6PxCb3PeUqbwapaolvrAvA2wF4qLslB2Uo/s1600/carseatemergencycontact.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="438" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXUp8NAHVGrLn28k5YL2VDQwmYDtFj9xBoAf0YNezBn9ETnk9GVtWF1Eq9qvnMeuf301hvUpU4zPDYnRqQPQzm5Oet4Vp7JK9N4kB0OcXFB6PxCb3PeUqbwapaolvrAvA2wF4qLslB2Uo/s640/carseatemergencycontact.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
And, guess what?<br />
I decided to make it a printable that you are more than welcome to use. I'm all about car safety, you know.<br />
<br />
Just print them off onto an 8.5x11 sheet of label paper, cut them out, add your info, and stick 'em on your car seat.<br />
I made each download have two labels per sheet, one for each side of the car seat. That way, the paramedics are sure to see at least one of them.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuLVXjWJb_KAiVLFY30WKRhNuOrn6OtWGQBc99yCqEihtluRFEsOFaKgWJb2BXqsGGwZVXJQv2odciRJrbG0dBTEbV8QIo1GlDw1z5dmejO3MqzDRq5H4hh0l81VkaeIeGUUO81lHnZVE/s1600/AVAILABLECOLORS.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="334" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuLVXjWJb_KAiVLFY30WKRhNuOrn6OtWGQBc99yCqEihtluRFEsOFaKgWJb2BXqsGGwZVXJQv2odciRJrbG0dBTEbV8QIo1GlDw1z5dmejO3MqzDRq5H4hh0l81VkaeIeGUUO81lHnZVE/s640/AVAILABLECOLORS.jpg" style="cursor: move;" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
They are available for download in yellow (<a href="https://www.box.com/s/e08b8c23ccb57e0ec828">here</a>), pink (<a href="https://www.box.com/s/007824505853228c7ad2">here</a>), and aqua (<a href="https://www.box.com/s/508e7a5a09536e8ba263">here</a>), so take your pick!<br />

<br />
I fiiiinally revamped <a href="http://www.thefairyblogmother.com/">The Fairy Blogmother</a>.<br />
I've been wanting to for so long, but I was scared to take that little jump and actually make things happen around there.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiojcmi-7F59Pfjbcpz1iR4b4z7OOqWeOBepGZ9quhKjSPMA-nABuQ5pc0jmdSI3xJGS8DVVY6Al-APKQzVLO53PKRaoOQCwSTLDBtwLPDk1eXQfK76ri8gP5ueQ2z_BpW4YbhUcaVGdQ/s1600/tfbm.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiojcmi-7F59Pfjbcpz1iR4b4z7OOqWeOBepGZ9quhKjSPMA-nABuQ5pc0jmdSI3xJGS8DVVY6Al-APKQzVLO53PKRaoOQCwSTLDBtwLPDk1eXQfK76ri8gP5ueQ2z_BpW4YbhUcaVGdQ/s400/tfbm.png" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Besides the new design, I decided to add a little bloggity blog over there, too. One where I can post color inspirations, freebies (really, I added a few free backgrounds and some facebook cover photos today alone), and other blog related mumbo... So, you should really go check it out and become a follower or something. Or not? I don't know. I'm just really excited.<br />
<br />
To help channel my excitement, I decided to host a little giveaway for a free blog design (the <a href="http://www.thefairyblogmother.com/p/pricing.html">going to the ball package</a>, to be exact)! Enter with the rafflecopter widget below.<br />

What she wore was going to set the whole stage for the color theme of her party.<br />
<br />
All through planning, I had images of vintage-y colors running through my mind. I pictured using old book pages for decor blah blah blah.<br />
<br />
But then. THEN! I saw this cute little skirt by <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/LiddieMae?ref=seller_info">Liddie Mae</a> and pretty much fell in love with everything about it (from the chevron to the bright colors).<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLpYAn6Euyc6lWwaKv3f8kUNdISVHegjzznrqVlKgzw7jVTDCQ7eUl1dX_Lafhi48-iBXriSQTLIgdmPl6c6iKz0EucKn33Eu85nzZqONtInbYgYXA5Fs3Mqu1ph9moVVXm07-JdwnNfs/s1600/il_fullxfull.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLpYAn6Euyc6lWwaKv3f8kUNdISVHegjzznrqVlKgzw7jVTDCQ7eUl1dX_Lafhi48-iBXriSQTLIgdmPl6c6iKz0EucKn33Eu85nzZqONtInbYgYXA5Fs3Mqu1ph9moVVXm07-JdwnNfs/s640/il_fullxfull.jpeg" width="426" /></a><br />
<br />
I immediately messaged Sarah (the cute shop owner) about how much I loved that skirt. From there, she came up with the brilliant idea to make El a dress using the same fabrics. Seriously, this girl was an answer to my prayers! I was dreading finding a shirt that would match the cuteness of the skirt.<br />
<br />
I couldn't have been more happy with how it turned out!<br />
My girl looked so perfect in it, and I loved that it gave me the courage to go bright with the party.<br />

<br />
I fell in love with it the first time I saw it on <a href="http://www.mylittlepixies.com/">My Little Pixies</a> (I also fell in love with the price).<br />
<br />
I love that the ice cream cone barrette tied in the bright color theme with the ice cream thing and really brought every thing together.<br />
<br />
I couldn't have been more excited when it came in the mail.<br />
It was so professionally made and I was amazed at the amount of detail that she put in to it.<br />
<br />
Plus--I ordered it on a Monday (a holiday) and I got it on Friday morning. Such great news for a slacker like me!<br />

It was really hard to pick from the 22 available colors, but I was finally able to narrow it down between dark coral and aqua. Seriously, one of the hardest decisions I've made in a while! :)<br />

I was super impressed by the quality of the romper and how comfortable it was for my little girl to wear. I expected the lace to be itchy and rough, but instead it was stretchy and surprisingly soft. I<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I just wanted to take a second to gush about <a href="http://phrozensoftserve.com/">Phrozen Soft Serve</a>.</div><br />
When I started planning El's birthday party (I think she was about four months old at the time. Oops! I'm crazy)...I was having the hardest time coming up with themes.<br />
<br />
I knew I wanted to go all out for her party because 1) she took us forever to conceive, and 2) I like parties. So, when I came across <a href="http://phrozensoftserve.com/">Phrozen Soft Serve</a>'s site, I knew right then and there that I had to have an ice cream machine at her party.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRlKQx3QKPNyL0LwXOE7Bp_XtIN9Qm59_Rh_w_RCbjTfh3LSRcS6FuNxdD4BDvAgQc8uDTS5rHaZ2gB6MFbABQZwn_-iy-8sn0LQgRx6E1csxK7bVoGZksHPS-7IILPyYdWotmWW_fsA0/s1600/icecreammachine2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRlKQx3QKPNyL0LwXOE7Bp_XtIN9Qm59_Rh_w_RCbjTfh3LSRcS6FuNxdD4BDvAgQc8uDTS5rHaZ2gB6MFbABQZwn_-iy-8sn0LQgRx6E1csxK7bVoGZksHPS-7IILPyYdWotmWW_fsA0/s640/icecreammachine2.jpg" width="426" /></a><br />
<br />
Having that theme in place made the rest of the party planning a breeze.<br />
Only...I was super stressed out about getting that huge machine to the party.<br />
<br />
Luckily, Ryan at Phrozen Soft Serve had that all planned out. You should have seen the amazing trailer he drove the machine up in. Plus, he helped me set the machine up and make sure it was all working before the party started.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW-em8k86CXLKLSGmpQk9yuvmB03Jt3-5qkSHngUs7CdFcI1R_eKnop7mZ7VlP2rc2Px5c6Jc94Q5Q5rPM82DHKyTVQmncDqYFhx-3NaGmjMPAOIm-Ja8XeifXoHU1W7CSIpxsWt8T0MU/s1600/icecreammachine3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="442" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW-em8k86CXLKLSGmpQk9yuvmB03Jt3-5qkSHngUs7CdFcI1R_eKnop7mZ7VlP2rc2Px5c6Jc94Q5Q5rPM82DHKyTVQmncDqYFhx-3NaGmjMPAOIm-Ja8XeifXoHU1W7CSIpxsWt8T0MU/s640/icecreammachine3.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
He took the time to explain the machine to me and he was very personable. Hearing him talk about his company made me even more excited to try out his machine!<br />
<br />
For the ice cream, I chose Vanilla and Chocolate Frozen yogurt. It was really good, and I am really glad we went with that choice. I had a lot of people mention to me that it was some of the best frozen yogurt they had ever had.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjC386GMIlGt7OVdPQzGF86wYfGH7wykx6BI155jFq4n4aZ2HBNEtg9xbpqMaObHYqjU1gBhhAxceRHT9dh6KACQlfSwgfHmZmN6TNbd28N7xzMoGujabkoWZG38pYtWi1fLAhS9rkUC_Q/s1600/icecreammachine.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjC386GMIlGt7OVdPQzGF86wYfGH7wykx6BI155jFq4n4aZ2HBNEtg9xbpqMaObHYqjU1gBhhAxceRHT9dh6KACQlfSwgfHmZmN6TNbd28N7xzMoGujabkoWZG38pYtWi1fLAhS9rkUC_Q/s640/icecreammachine.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
The best part was that the machine made so much. We were able to feed everyone at the party, plus have even more people over once the party ended. Sure we may have been creepy inviting all the neighborhood kids over, but they loved it!<br />
<br />

In the ClearAfter I posted about the party, I knew I needed to gush about a few shops.<br />
Part of me wanted to keep them all my little secret, but then I remembered that that wouldn't be fair to all you lovely readers. Dang.<br />
_______<br />
<br />
So, first up?<br />
<a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/intheclear">InTheClear</a><br />
<br />
You have heard me talk about <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/intheclear">InTheClear</a> so many times before (like <a href="http://www.oopsicraftmypants.net/2012/05/throw-bow-on-it.html">here</a> and <a href="http://www.oopsicraftmypants.net/2012/05/washi-tape-spoons.html">here</a>). That's because most of my party supplies came from them.<br />
<br />
They have the most beautiful things ranging from washi tape to wooden spoons. Really, this place is your <i>affordable </i>one stop party shop.<br />
<br />
I was so blown away with the amount I was able to order for the price that I paid.<br />
<br />
Here are a few things from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/intheclear">InTheClear</a>'s shop that I am eyeing right now.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTm4Q81z2Bj9uhVno5iqbyqLBuP2L_12OT5Pu1tol23MaovujZ9mOlJNfpEiaw1Mbbz8rLV0GUTBusmXLrbfwFvGSJGT9CHDwXJyI3pl6GF4Ox4OLpxHkeYJvnQoygfYCO28FoSs22mgUn/s1600/intheclearwishlist.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTm4Q81z2Bj9uhVno5iqbyqLBuP2L_12OT5Pu1tol23MaovujZ9mOlJNfpEiaw1Mbbz8rLV0GUTBusmXLrbfwFvGSJGT9CHDwXJyI3pl6GF4Ox4OLpxHkeYJvnQoygfYCO28FoSs22mgUn/s640/intheclearwishlist.jpg" width="542" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/92735141/bakers-twine-tester-size-270-yards-total">1.</a> <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/InTheClear?section_id=6160853&page=16">2.</a> <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/102197806/qty-75-paper-straws-in-bag-single-color">3.</a> <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/60864720/square-window-tins-set-of-25-25-x-25-x">4.</a> <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/96884654/washi-tape-set-15mm-combination-cb">5.</a><br />

<span style="font-size: x-small;">**Although I did receive a 10% discount on product, all opinions in this post are mine. None of that sugar coating mumbo jumbo. (Sorry about that first sentence. Let's start over.)<br />
<br />
Basically, I have a million photos from the party.<br />
My photographer had to bail on us last second, but luckily I have a fancy camera and a really nice friend (Casey) who was willing to help me out. We both just went around shooting with our cameras, and between the two of us, we got all the shots that we needed. Phew! Crisis averted.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZcLJybRHB5MQjRsUR9ErUNEHIZnza53wRGxkIjJ130Yd2vecEdue-eWUf7zmlyVW2AYLZIEvkj0WXUgacLMheww82GpJTZK75SHtzgi0wl5bBLvh9wDG68ZcYTP0k41nzQ8CFVqR_8IY/s1600/partytables1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="466" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZcLJybRHB5MQjRsUR9ErUNEHIZnza53wRGxkIjJ130Yd2vecEdue-eWUf7zmlyVW2AYLZIEvkj0WXUgacLMheww82GpJTZK75SHtzgi0wl5bBLvh9wDG68ZcYTP0k41nzQ8CFVqR_8IY/s640/partytables1.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
When you first walked into the party, this is what you saw.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifiCKJ7e97n6Ns9unXZNsKs7KFNgkEfx9tZBtOx3UrDwrXHHijp3-jgHV3FX9WIFjhNy1te8WBHhb_UBQePN1qtNsIUhaElKXzHkNw2Zufcuj6xblR-rjZ8pTxtyTghIPDXIWAJGs5EZA/s1600/walkinsmall.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifiCKJ7e97n6Ns9unXZNsKs7KFNgkEfx9tZBtOx3UrDwrXHHijp3-jgHV3FX9WIFjhNy1te8WBHhb_UBQePN1qtNsIUhaElKXzHkNw2Zufcuj6xblR-rjZ8pTxtyTghIPDXIWAJGs5EZA/s640/walkinsmall.jpg" width="452" /></a><br />
<br />
Instead of getting a bunch of tables, we opted for the (cheap) alternative. Blankets! It was fun to have the party blanket style and I think it helped people interact with each other a little better. At least I hope?<br />
<br />
Then, moving right along, there was the drink table.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKVmfNF_IDLd579XH9PUqBQm82EuDElmo6qwHwnwxPEco_dbh4jDi7lnJ07ZjGYJei2KYEvvW_ougghijUA8y_vhueaokmgjFOwSTdg2OeDDM2EsmlOQ0WS_Zi3njZ5VEM-plmrmoiBIg/s1600/drinktablesmall.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKVmfNF_IDLd579XH9PUqBQm82EuDElmo6qwHwnwxPEco_dbh4jDi7lnJ07ZjGYJei2KYEvvW_ougghijUA8y_vhueaokmgjFOwSTdg2OeDDM2EsmlOQ0WS_Zi3njZ5VEM-plmrmoiBIg/s640/drinktablesmall.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
We served water, punch, and Lemonade. We were going to make other cool drinks, but time just slipped away from us. I still like how it turned out and I love the yellow chevron back drop (which is really just a huge thing of fabric from fabric.com).<br />
<br />
Next to the drink table, we had the sliders and fries table.<br />
<br />
This was Tyler's baby. He has always wanted to be a caterer (and after the party, we're thinking he's going to go back to school for it...So really, if you are looking for a cheap (but amazing) chef for a party call him. He's the best.)<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDszcdzF5eFmB8zUpWXn4agKYDgjZ6ykJ_CvqBbQHaAy7MkeZwDBgvElBglTh-hPMPt_eboyoq8Hu_g7vr0TAQb0xFa9EbhyphenhyphenNsXLxH-uzNfl3E9qCQQHTULEdR5jGZr6ZajprU5mdsAa4/s1600/hamburgertablesmall.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDszcdzF5eFmB8zUpWXn4agKYDgjZ6ykJ_CvqBbQHaAy7MkeZwDBgvElBglTh-hPMPt_eboyoq8Hu_g7vr0TAQb0xFa9EbhyphenhyphenNsXLxH-uzNfl3E9qCQQHTULEdR5jGZr6ZajprU5mdsAa4/s640/hamburgertablesmall.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
His food was delicious. I'll prove it in pictures in a minute.<br />
First, I have to show you the coolest part of the party. The ice cream machine.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgttLgdv1iApyhgjLPFSezmiZo8bbmAOeSHyoETEsArPJLpUT8LI4Orbev2wVC2Voljp-lbnMWiHeAOb1nxzCPHSES7DiVUFTmlJBW6ZloicjHw5Zh-d8KdJeTU5-M1NM3ZBuV13wisnnw/s1600/icecreamandtoppings.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="442" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgttLgdv1iApyhgjLPFSezmiZo8bbmAOeSHyoETEsArPJLpUT8LI4Orbev2wVC2Voljp-lbnMWiHeAOb1nxzCPHSES7DiVUFTmlJBW6ZloicjHw5Zh-d8KdJeTU5-M1NM3ZBuV13wisnnw/s640/icecreamandtoppings.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
Is that not just the greatest thing you have ever seen?<br />
Ryan from <a href="http://phrozensoftserve.com/">Phrozen Soft Serve</a> completely hooked us up with the greatest chocolate and vanilla frozen yogurt I have ever tasted.<br />
<br />
Ready to go more in depth?<br />
<br />
Let's start with Eloise's dress.<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWimH2XhV-eLbq6cTX6KX2TTJccE9gMkgzOLd4BiMnGCmA7RtrPjo7BfTG2c1PGEqHPBHomTx8J_6P1dGiwyVT4xJAZAC70_vZYLERP01XHBjptQfoSGzW8qR9yAvk9kgef4656G6q7eA/s1600/highchairgirl.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="566" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWimH2XhV-eLbq6cTX6KX2TTJccE9gMkgzOLd4BiMnGCmA7RtrPjo7BfTG2c1PGEqHPBHomTx8J_6P1dGiwyVT4xJAZAC70_vZYLERP01XHBjptQfoSGzW8qR9yAvk9kgef4656G6q7eA/s640/highchairgirl.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
Isn't it perfect for the whole color scheme? I kind of planned the entire party around it, and I think it turned out so great. Her dress is from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/LiddieMae?ref=seller_info">Liddie Mae Designs</a> and it couldn't have been more great.<br />
<br />
And, ready to zoom in to the sweetest little ice cream bow you will ever see?<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCWq6z7C0iD_xqVyN-rnBp6EnXh9zJmoLf76-2eoqgneuBmsIrIceD-0OReJOqCQDnMGT8o1NAQMjl6k0uFtVWSkL-bYMPcunJU4R6SzgTsE87H0Nv3aSFXwwcJcY6_6oS3F88n8WQ_ZM/s1600/icecreambarrette.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCWq6z7C0iD_xqVyN-rnBp6EnXh9zJmoLf76-2eoqgneuBmsIrIceD-0OReJOqCQDnMGT8o1NAQMjl6k0uFtVWSkL-bYMPcunJU4R6SzgTsE87H0Nv3aSFXwwcJcY6_6oS3F88n8WQ_ZM/s640/icecreambarrette.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
I love that it was made out of bright felts and tied in the whole ice cream theme as well. This little gem is from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/97889241/felt-ice-cream-cone-hair-clip-pink-aqua">My Little Pixies</a> shop.<br />
<br />
For drinks, I just ordered sauce bottles online. They were fairly inexpensive, and I love that they added a little bit more than just a plastic cup or something.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqVHjfhVox82BaHR0x-Xe41oJPUuNDp9SCaB-5Qn_RSk8OCLksUwYcitxQLTOO7-1UGmVtFfV8Mq-TTs0s7k2pzuB45_6K5OmvGZZMhWcLcHo6srQAykmKWIghdICBfuabBjOImLqklNc/s1600/drinkss.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="306" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqVHjfhVox82BaHR0x-Xe41oJPUuNDp9SCaB-5Qn_RSk8OCLksUwYcitxQLTOO7-1UGmVtFfV8Mq-TTs0s7k2pzuB45_6K5OmvGZZMhWcLcHo6srQAykmKWIghdICBfuabBjOImLqklNc/s640/drinkss.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
I added washi tape and cute little straws from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/InTheClear?ref=no-search-results">In The Clear</a>.<br />
<br />
I also wrapped the ice cream cups with ribbon from that cute little shop, and dipped some ice cream cones in chocolate and candy to add a little visual interest.<br />
<br />

<br />
The cake was also a huge hit.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIP9eytglZgyaFjucJOzPbYvqmFXCnBFwAI7m3hyphenhyphenTGZAyBnEWK9WIiXe2TKTnVDdT2-jfEyhPVG168p3ymkh8zuce6N6pMvkcO5mHczdXSZvpuLK8Zu6iK-JYYmf81eQLjsDp8whzN_cg/s1600/cake.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="292" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIP9eytglZgyaFjucJOzPbYvqmFXCnBFwAI7m3hyphenhyphenTGZAyBnEWK9WIiXe2TKTnVDdT2-jfEyhPVG168p3ymkh8zuce6N6pMvkcO5mHczdXSZvpuLK8Zu6iK-JYYmf81eQLjsDp8whzN_cg/s640/cake.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
We just ordered a chocolate circle cake from Costco ($16), but asked for it to be frosted in white with no decoration.<br />
Then, I covered it in lots of m&ms. Easy and cute.<br />
<br />
Since most the kids at her party were still a little young for actual games, we just set up a hopscotch mat and sidewalk chalk for the kiddies to play with. There were also a few other random toys to keep them entertained.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-XQ1ZQnjNsRTbA1gNeMF4SC2V5r0yo1ENugMcgb7Ab1eoPSa4c7WNYYgzTnfFyY8YcOJMyRA2wa5vsaMCwNvqaTqxm89Mo0HyavaYTQ_d-KAuA8-Zr69HhuwWvazSvUkMefR3HnlAQek/s1600/play.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="286" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-XQ1ZQnjNsRTbA1gNeMF4SC2V5r0yo1ENugMcgb7Ab1eoPSa4c7WNYYgzTnfFyY8YcOJMyRA2wa5vsaMCwNvqaTqxm89Mo0HyavaYTQ_d-KAuA8-Zr69HhuwWvazSvUkMefR3HnlAQek/s640/play.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
We also let the kids hit the pinata I made, and it was so cute watching all of them take their turns and run for the candy and toys once it was broken.<br />

Of course, the adults had to have a little fun with the scraps.<br />

<br />
For food (as I mentioned earlier)--Tyler made sliders and fries. I was blown away by how cute it ended up. I made the cute little fry bags, but other than that, the food was all his.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIvTknsd7fe9LoLmUQ_GwQ23RP45rQDiuQIHesKHUgIgfXM2LuaW4pk_CZrIiQ0pyG55MgWG3l8XLgpYh6tSGoW4cVrVSq6EN6HmP3Qdq7U5FpwsmuBK1DAOlnyYxa9jjomb2P4miErCM/s1600/partyfries.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="288" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIvTknsd7fe9LoLmUQ_GwQ23RP45rQDiuQIHesKHUgIgfXM2LuaW4pk_CZrIiQ0pyG55MgWG3l8XLgpYh6tSGoW4cVrVSq6EN6HmP3Qdq7U5FpwsmuBK1DAOlnyYxa9jjomb2P4miErCM/s640/partyfries.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
To hold up the fries, Tyler thought of the brilliant idea to use a cooling rack. Isn't he awesome? Of course, we had to spray paint it to match the color scheme, though!<br />

Baby E loved her gifts, and was more than happy to give out her party favors (crayons shaped as ice cream cones, easy!) to all her friends.<br />

Here are a few pictures from El's birthday shoot.<br />
We went to a friend's orchard and our other friend, Kim Aldrich, took the pictures.<br />
<br />
She was nice enough to give me all the unedited ones so that I could see all the millions of pictures she took (note: I did the editing on the ones below because I couldn't find the ones she edited until after I uploaded all these on to the post.)<br />

It's been insane around here!<br />
<br />
Last night, I decided to attempt making a large coffee filter number like the one I saw on <a href="http://lowescreativeideas.com/idea-library/projects/Pom-Pom_Number.aspx">Lowe's Creative Ideas.</a> As always, though...I am awful at following directions.<br />
<br />
So, here's my version of the coffee filter number:<br />
(sorry in advance for the awful picture coloring. It was like 9 pm, and pictures just weren't working out so hot.)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKEtyRja9civBoUDq5NCcsm8Rqzmag3Tz9PpB6OU5aRZhp4z0JQXsVWqPiQgShXtC05bnvzNFxSD-mT3oesTbo-ZX_MQd8mbFHYeyzGgKry3yxfdQSjv8Jurn1n22wk_5u3-zeqfSMywx6/s1600/one.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="384" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKEtyRja9civBoUDq5NCcsm8Rqzmag3Tz9PpB6OU5aRZhp4z0JQXsVWqPiQgShXtC05bnvzNFxSD-mT3oesTbo-ZX_MQd8mbFHYeyzGgKry3yxfdQSjv8Jurn1n22wk_5u3-zeqfSMywx6/s640/one.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />
1. Free hand your number using a Sharpie (or a dry erase marker, if you can never find anything you need at your house) onto a piece of cardboard.<br />
2. Start cutting that bad boy out. I found that some parts were easier to cut out with scissors, while others were easier to cut out using an exacto knife.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir3MpvpX9kCkaegi2wP8c_cXrlWR13Uscqw2RK4nsz9ZvOEhEZcJLlYNT6A_cOtVEZIPOnd9MNL3B1elElw4vorkneD-zJTOdD9t038WC1mE-ZacP0S3SyU83ewvX7WpRYePTtfarwMXK_/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="384" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir3MpvpX9kCkaegi2wP8c_cXrlWR13Uscqw2RK4nsz9ZvOEhEZcJLlYNT6A_cOtVEZIPOnd9MNL3B1elElw4vorkneD-zJTOdD9t038WC1mE-ZacP0S3SyU83ewvX7WpRYePTtfarwMXK_/s640/3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />
3. After your number is all cut out, gather your glue gun and a bunch of coffee filters.<br />
4. Taking two coffee filters at a time (no more than two, or it'll be all gross and stiff), crumple them into a fluffy shape like the one above.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw2q8JwV5GmIw4qmEgIXpm_lttuHCO95W-GL17vF1ztgp_XN3rbEI7v9gsOumHiXPYsNioF0QdBzL6OzLW9gCHh2kzSG8H37kW7KuDk_4R4tc0lGsGbLeq1vbGJ2LJ-xsWZDlME4K0Mvt3/s1600/4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw2q8JwV5GmIw4qmEgIXpm_lttuHCO95W-GL17vF1ztgp_XN3rbEI7v9gsOumHiXPYsNioF0QdBzL6OzLW9gCHh2kzSG8H37kW7KuDk_4R4tc0lGsGbLeq1vbGJ2LJ-xsWZDlME4K0Mvt3/s640/4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />
4. (but a different 4 than the one above, I just can't count, alright?) Start gluing those filters on.<br />
5. Keep gluing.<br />
6. ...And gluing.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwG08LS1xN_bF1ipx72kzVEX7QIW8yu9i31NprpVfozOjOlT3O_FtkmhNws7GVAp2uHivXfqqeXzkPnF0hCsEc-XjZj7zsHI5vl5rSvOObPix_SMFCzM3zL0NinL0qxNaW73TRebdueeMt/s1600/allout.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="234" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwG08LS1xN_bF1ipx72kzVEX7QIW8yu9i31NprpVfozOjOlT3O_FtkmhNws7GVAp2uHivXfqqeXzkPnF0hCsEc-XjZj7zsHI5vl5rSvOObPix_SMFCzM3zL0NinL0qxNaW73TRebdueeMt/s320/allout.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
At this point, you should be finished. But of course, I ran out of coffee filters. LUCKILY, I have lots and lots of craft fails that used coffee filters, so I was able to take some off of there to finish the project. PHEW!!<br />
<br />
Of course, I couldn't just leave it white (the party is colorful, after all)...So, I took some watercolors and painted the edges of the filters to add a little pop.<br />
<br />
And that's it. All done!<br />
<br />

Every once in a while, I have the urge to buy something-- Even though I don't need it right that second.<br />
I figure that I could use it <i>someday</i>, so I buy it anyway.<br />
<br />
It's a flaw of mine that happens all too often.<br />
Most of the time, the crap I buy just sits in the garage waiting for their "someday"...But not today!<br />
Nope. Today, I actually used something I bought for <i>someday</i>. I couldn't be more proud of myself!<br />
<br />
Now--Brace yourself, because I am about to talk the Etsy shop <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/InTheClear?ref=seller_info">In The Clear</a> up once again.<br />
I've already confessed my love for them--But, today it increased ten fold. Seriously.<br />
<br />
I purchased these plain ol' icecream cups from them in hope that I would spruce them up for the party. The original plan was to wrap them in scrapbook paper and decorate them that way. But, when it came down to it, I could not get the paper to stick for the life of me!<br />
<br />
Then, I remembered this awesome <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/90338348/chevron-twill-herringbone-ribbon-variety">Chevron Twill Herringbone Ribbon Variety</a> set that I bought for <i>someday</i>. And it hit me! Wrap it around the plain cups and throw a little bow on it.<br />
So, that's what I did.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb-cPiciWNJ7Ue5saqXsieXKo5BwGjauYdWt_Qyv9VQJxWPMU_pGseob2YJKAb7RHKH47MR4kdyetPr2v-fN9xUKrsaDQBX8LxzbWx6a9D5FNkAWDlQwE-G8BrlUK-nfZNYLFqQFO_NnsW/s1600/icecreampartycups.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="374" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb-cPiciWNJ7Ue5saqXsieXKo5BwGjauYdWt_Qyv9VQJxWPMU_pGseob2YJKAb7RHKH47MR4kdyetPr2v-fN9xUKrsaDQBX8LxzbWx6a9D5FNkAWDlQwE-G8BrlUK-nfZNYLFqQFO_NnsW/s640/icecreampartycups.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />
Are they not so adorable?<br />
I think they will definitely add a nice little touch to my baby's first birthday party...Don't you?<br />
<br />
Here's a quick little instruction image so you can spruce up your own party cups!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCnTqHvIrxmao-smii-kr2OhoSPHMY3r1dgKvI2L1Ayi5oRuD24rfNS0Wsw3nzIGSrJuU6NOQVL2QXxlOYHoE-n_4zrJYTNSmp05zPSQp7dpCrNGLJ6c8zYH3gb-Ic1WfzTpTwiNnh2rRM/s1600/throwabowonit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCnTqHvIrxmao-smii-kr2OhoSPHMY3r1dgKvI2L1Ayi5oRuD24rfNS0Wsw3nzIGSrJuU6NOQVL2QXxlOYHoE-n_4zrJYTNSmp05zPSQp7dpCrNGLJ6c8zYH3gb-Ic1WfzTpTwiNnh2rRM/s1600/throwabowonit.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
1.wrap your twill ribbon around your cup, hot gluing every once in a while (it doesn't have to go totally around, if the bow will cover it) 2. Cut two strips for the bow. One about two 1/2 inches long, and one about one inch long. 3. Put a dab of hot glue on one end of the longer piece. 4. Wrap it around into a circle (put the other end on the glued end) 5. Press down in the middle and add a glue dot to the top. 6. Take your smaller piece and glue one end on. Wrap that piece around the front and back, and glue it into place. 7. Here's your finished bow! 8. Now put a dab of glue on your cup at the seam of your twill ribbon and 9. Glue on the bow! taaada.<br />
<br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">Easy, right?!</div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">P.S. I feel like I should mention that In The Clear didn't pay me to write any of these posts. I am really just IN LOVE with their shop. Really--I spent about $80 my first order, and I will probably make another order here shortly. They have so many great party and craft supplies!</span></div>erika @ life unfluffedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01560324406766930861noreply@blogger.com1
